Although the situation was complex regarding the sale of a residence for which I was responsible as the trustee, involving an estate, Dana Horne Realty handled all aspects of the transaction with skill and care. Although I can release no information about the estate itself, I feel it is appropriate to comment on the nature and quality of the services provided by Dana Horne Realty, so that others may have my opinion for their own consideration.

Dana Horne Realty provided an effective and knowledgeable approach to the listing price, to solutions to required repairs, to interactions with multiple potential buyers, and to selection of and communications with effective and escrow and title services.

This residence was listed and sold, and the escrow was closed, in what has been described as a “down” market. In particular, prior statements made by other real estate agents as to the saleability, to the potential selling price, and to property repair approaches, if followed and pursued, would have resulted in substantially lower proceeds. Dana Horne Realty on the other hand, provided a realistic approach to handling repairs in a situation that did not include a large amount of funds for repairs. Even so, the repairs resulted in a residential property that had an excellent functionality and appearance.

The office personnel at Dana Horne Realty, including Dana Horne, himself, consistently advised me at the events and choices related to the listing, sale, and escrow. Further, they worked with me person-to-person as well as via telephone and internet communications. The personnel at this agency demonstrated personal integrity as to their handling of the financial aspects, as well as intelligent explanations and handling of the documents related to the transactions.

Dana Horne Realty is awesome! I am a broker that represented myself on the buy side. The sellers were represented by Dana Horne Realty. The entire team at Dana Horne Realty was awesome. This was a short sale so of course there were more parties involved than in a normal transaction. The entire team at Dana Horne Realty worked professionally, diligently, and always with care and true service. I was always treated well and they went the extra mile to make sure every detail was attended to. Although the entire team was fabulous, Julianna stands out as extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Dana Horne Realty was a lifesaver for us! We owned a house in San Diego, but lived 3,000 miles away in Maryland. In January we were notified that our rental agent had passed away and we needed to “make arrangements” immediately for the care of our house. After a bit of panic, we called Dana and explained our situation. He and his associates went to work right away – making calls, contacting the renter, mortgage company, etc.

Within a few months we decided to sell the house. Our previous agent had done very little to maintain the house and there were huge repairs to be made before we could even think of selling it.
